Three Suns

Recently, my project colleagues and I were discussing how we create the content for our various platforms, and we recalled a significant episode from the teachings of Castaneda.

When Carlos Castaneda tried to express his gratitude to his teacher, Don Juan, the latter reminded him:

"If a warrior wants to pay back for all the favors he has received, and he has no one in particular to address his payment to, he can address it to the spirit of man. That's always a very small account, and whatever one puts in it is more than enough."

In other words, true gratitude for the Knowledge received and for one’s encounter with the Force is a symbolic gesture—a contribution to the collective human Spirit, driven by a pure intention to unfold one’s own potential and to work sincerely for the greater good.

Don Juan once said to Castaneda:

Words express the Knowledge you possess. They serve as a vessel for the energy of your thoughts and emotions.

The law states: "A high Power requires a high and noble form."

Imagine you are expecting an important guest—someone you have spent months preparing to meet. This meeting is set to address a matter of great consequence—a decision that could shape the course of your life, such as your children’s university enrollment, a major relocation, or a new career opportunity.

You have arranged to meet at a café and have reserved a table. You chose this particular spot with great care, as it holds profound symbolic meaning for you: it is where your engagement was celebrated, and where you have held many birthday parties for your children.

 You must agree that the internet today is teeming with exotic philosophies, each offering a solution to the lack of happiness and peace in one’s life.

Evil does not exist in itself; there is only an absence of good. Evil exists only for the one who becomes its victim...

Nature is devoid of good and evil; it merely follows immutable laws, bestowing life and joy, or bringing suffering and death, while destroying what it has itself created. Nature holds an antidote for every poison, and its laws provide recompense for every instance of suffering. True evil is born of the human intellect; its origin is entirely bound to the reasoning human being—one who has severed their connection with nature. Thus, humanity itself is the sole true source of evil. Evil is simply an exaggerated form of good—a product of human selfishness and greed...

We constantly talk about mundane thinking. And perhaps some of you still don't quite understand what we're talking about.
 
Everyday thinking is a type of thinking that operates in life with ideas, concepts, and beliefs based on strict rationalism and ignoring the subtle, unmanifested part of a person and the world as a whole. Examples of everyday thinking concepts: "I am the center of the world," "you must fight for your place in the sun," "the strong outshine the weak—that's the law," "if you want to live, you have to be able to attack and defend," and similar misconceptions.
 
The danger of everyday thinking is that it creates a clear image of ourselves that resists change or even criticism. This image is forced to carry us throughout our entire lives—from birth to the first cry at our funeral. We see ourselves and the world in a single image, perceiving only one version of who we are. This image is called our "personal history." Our personal history has filled us with stereotypes, and not a single cubic millimeter of inner space remains to accommodate anything new. From this point on, life seems gray, dull, and meaningless.
 
This is what don Juan says about fullness to Castaneda.

This world was handed down to us as an inheritance. We were taught to see everything in a certain way—so as "neither to get ahead nor to fall behind." Not to stand out or have an opinion of our own, lest people fail to understand us.
 
We can endlessly rail against the unfairness of the world, complain about how politicians get in our way, and lament how we were deprived of love in childhood by a tyrannical father or mother.
