Three Suns

One of the great problems of modern mystical philosophy is to rid the mass consciousness of the complacent belief that a little metaphysical speculation will free the individual from all responsibility and all the obligations of the mortal state. One of the first duties of man is self-improvement, for only by going through the centuries of self-improvement can we attain that state of wisdom for which we so ardently strive. The practice of mysticism is no substitute for improvement, nor does it give us any knowledge or mastery of the very arts and sciences whose mastery is necessary for our spiritual growth.

The things that people do can not under any conditions be more important than world the world. And thus a warrior treats the as an endless mystery and what people do as an endless folly.

C. Castaneda

The question of parents and children is one of the most difficult in the life of almost any person. The relationship between parents and children is part of the family relationship, the understanding and attitude to which is not considered in any way by the general educational system. A reasonable and healthy view of the essence of family interaction is almost never discussed in the family circle, and the disclosure of one's role in a complex family vicissitudes is given to the individual for independent consideration.

A reasonable person strives for knowledge, including knowledge of the abstract. The desire to join the "paranormal society", to find a teacher and to complete tasks is certainly a laudable desire and, to some extent, perhaps effective.

At the same time, for an ordinary person, everything is more prosaic. All he has is the world around him without illusions of being chosen. Castaneda talks about this in one of his interviews:

Don Juan said that one of the main differences between a sorcerer and an ordinary person is that an ordinary person lives as if he were immortal. He squanders time as if time were his infinite resource.

The sorcerer knows that his time on this Earth is limited. Therefore, he spends every moment of his life effectively.The sorcerer interacts with the Force. The Force comes from the Spirit. The Spirit dwells in Eternity. Therefore, the sorcerer dwells in Eternity.

It is Eternity that reminds the sorcerer that he is powerful, but there is very little time to embody everything that the Spirit points to. There is no time at all for recklessness and stupidity.
