Chanting the syllable "OM"
Chanting the syllable "OM" is called mantra meditation.
Chanting "OM" is based on the generation of vibrations that spread throughout the body from the bottom up and have a great influence on the harmonization of your body. Vibrations occur during the sequential pronunciation of simple basic sounds O-M, which do not require the involvement of the tongue. The sound of the mantra becomes the center of your attention.
Chanting the mantra "OM" relieves tension, eliminates stress, activating the parasympathetic nervous system, restores strength, etc.

Description of the practice
Meditation can be done in silence or with musical accompaniment of mantra singing. We recommend The Eternal OM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqaYiAeHfMg
Sit in a comfortable position, cross your legs. Straighten and relax your back. Feel the vertical thread along the spine that stretches you from the tailbone to the crown.
Start breathing slowly and deeply, using the diaphragm. Then take a deep breath and chant “OM” as you exhale, repeat, deepening your breathing and sound.
Feel how the sound rises from the bottom up through the body, vibrates at the level of the head and goes up. Focus on the vibration of the sound and its movement from the bottom up.
The sound comes from the depths naturally, breathing is even and deep. A feeling of lightness and freedom appears.
Try to catch the sound of “OM” in the space around you. Connect the chant of “OM” with this unmanifested sound of “OM” in space.
When you feel that it is time to finish the practice, slowly come out of it, maintaining the state of vibration and lightness.
