Alexander Jakimcio, Engaging in this debate on the internet is usually pointless as there is no discussion to be had. However, at least from a neutral standpoint, your stance - assuming it's genuine, and not baiting - isn't malicious or bad and doesn't offend anyone. There are three main postulates contained within it, however - and personally, I do find every single one of those to be either misguided or just plain factually untrue, and can debate it. BUT! - and here's the kicker - there is no reason to. People are allowed to have opposing views - but it isn't by its nature supposed to make us opponents. As to why the initial discussion happened in the first place? Reddit, and its obsession with baiting, especially using the "socially acceptable" thematics. I still find it concerning - even more so now than before. Getting offended by a stranger's concern somewhere on the internet, however, is still a conscious choice - one which people are allowed to make.

Gabital, I agree that people are allowed to have opposing views, that is why genuine discussion can be helpful to educate ourselves. And while I agree that that is very often hard to be had on the internet, I would not say it is impossible.
