.. (Part 2, Cont): Namely, you are some of the world's foremost gaming experts in naval war, and especially on this era of Steam and Iron/Steel, with a lot of gorgeous assets. However, the releases at present have been kind of balkanized between finely crafted but very niche games covering given conflicts or sometimes even single battles, in spite of the formidable assets between them. I think it might be worth considering pooling the resources together into a larger game that can be priced accordingly and allow us to play a grander scale of the era, and whacky alt history events (sort of a naval equivalent of the Age of Rifles that has been re-released on GOG to such acclaim). I think this would also allow you to centralize more around a given game that can be priced accordingly higher and marketed in a more centralized fashion while being built and supported long term, in this era of longer development cycles and support as shown by the likes of Paradox.

(Part 3)
Finally, given the material involved and how from what I've seen the consensus among players seems to be that the new campaign mechanics and persistence introduced in the Ironclads 2 series was really a saving grace for the Victorian Admirals/Ironclads/Clad in Iron species, the popularity of Rule the Waves, Victory at Sea, and Ultimate Admirals, and how many of the games take place in the same or similar areas, it might be worth considering a new kind of campaign system based around nationality or a naval career at the admiralty rather than a given conflict (even if the given conflicts would also help). Imagine playing a Peruvian and Chilean Admiral fighting alongside one another to reclaim the Chincha Islands and defeat Spain, only for a few short years later to have to fight one another. Or a Spanish commander having to hunt down Cuban patriot smugglers, put down the uppity colonials and guano, and ultimately build towards the US?
In any case, glad to see you again.
