The True Formula for Happiness in Esotericism
The Universe, in essence, shows no particular interest in human happiness—no more than a person cares about the comfort or discomfort that might exist in a beehive or an anthill. Humans are simply, by nature, meddlesome bipeds with distinctly destructive tendencies, living off the hard work and lives of others.
To be happy, a person must live with dignity. They must be honest with the world in which they live, honest with themselves, and aware of the purpose of their existence.

Instead of attending seminars that teach meaningless practices of "conversation" with the Universe, and cherishing a sense of self-importance based on the idea that the Universe is listening and speaking, a person should practice living a virtuous life. After all, the paradise so promised in the heavens must first be built on Earth.
