Obsession with the lower self
Many—and rightly so—exercise the utmost caution when dealing with metaphysicians.
Note, however, that these same people abandon all caution when dealing with their own selves. In this case, they very often, one might even say daily, allow completely unreliable criteria, dogmas, and whims to exert a dominant influence on their choice of friends and even play a decisive role in what these individuals happily call their education.
Unbeknownst to themselves, such people are candidates for slavery—a less obvious, yet even more insidious, form of servitude than that of the capricious geniuses of many esoteric organizations.
Many people are always ready with words to justify such devotion to cults and obsessive ideas. Their opponents make similar speeches, justifying their hostility to all kinds of cults. Both sides, seemingly opposed to each other, actually represent the same phenomenon: they are, in essence, possessed.
This can be discerned by experienced observers. This kind of experience must be made accessible to the possessed as well. A person must undergo a specific experience, because simply knowing they are a victim of their own obsession will not help them in any way.
