I’m continuing my story about the development of games and other size‑difference content.

Today I’m publishing an updated working build of the game “Erindale: The Code of Reality”. The build is available in the private gallery.

I’d like to make a few clarifications right away.

Since the script development is much faster than creating images, I’ve decided not to tie the addition of new lines to the readiness of the corresponding images. The development is already too slow, as I have too little free time to dedicate entirely to making the game.

I will add new lines and dialogues at the pace my workload from my main offline jobs allows. And I will temporarily replace the images that correspond to the new dialogues with placeholders. I’ve already done this in another project (which is currently on hold due to its high complexity). Of course, my followers didn’t really like this approach to development. However, they liked the very slow development pace even less. Therefore, in my opinion, it makes sense to choose the approach with fewer negative consequences.

As for the images, this weekend I managed to create two in‑game images, which have already been added to the working build.

Meanwhile, thanks to the new approach, the plot has progressed much further. You can imagine how slowly things would develop if I still tied the lines to the finished images.

I sincerely apologize for the fact that the development is progressing too slowly and many promises made earlier have not been fulfilled. I always do everything I can. But I have to provide for my children, so most of my time is spent working three jobs. It’s very hard. I’m constantly thinking about how to speed up the game’s development. After all, many people criticize me precisely because the development is moving too slowly. I need to work at least one main job (instead of three) so that I can devote more time to the game. I want to sincerely apologize to those whose messages I haven’t replied to. I’m sorry, but I really have very little free time. No matter how hard I try to read all the messages, I physically can’t do it. There are too many messages! Most of them, unfortunately, contain hate, but sometimes you can’t tell what they’re about until I open them.

First of all, I read messages from my followers on Patreon and Boosty. Then, as far as possible, I read emails and messages in messengers on other platforms. Sometimes it happens that I read a message and plan to reply later… but then I forget to do so. And on top of that message, many new ones come in, pushing it far down…

I really ask everyone, please don’t be offended with me if I haven’t replied to someone. I don’t do it on purpose, and certainly not out of malice!
