Size Difference World

Hi!

With this post I'm continuing the devlog of the game "Size Difference World".

And so, in a continuation of the main storyline, Scarlet proposes the main character to go on a journey. But the start of the journey is scheduled only for the next morning. The main character needs somewhere to spend his time until the morning, so he goes to Laraya's girlfriends house....

Last weekend, I was busy creating and editing a script describing the protagonist's time spent at his new friends' house. Unfortunately, that part of the script turned out to be too big (or I had too little free time), so I didn't have time to transfer it all into the game.

The first thing I did this weekend was to create the house of Laraya's friends (Ayumi and Harumi), where the action of the continuation of the storyline takes place. This was followed by creating sprites of the new characters, Ayumi and Harumi. In the remaining time, I started transferring script's dialogs into the game.

To be honest, I didn't want to update the working build today, since the beginning of the new part of the script isn't very interesting and the dialog didn't reach its culmination. However, in addition to writing dialog, this week I also created the new image for the secondary scene I mentioned earlier. After a bit of thinking about it, I decided to update the working build after all. Especially since, no matter what, there is some interesting things about the game's world in the new dialogs.

The image has already been added to the working build of the game, as well as in the special section of the private gallery (Size Difference World The Game / 2025 / 04 / Apr 27).

In the future sequel there will be more interesting moments that will put the protagonist in front of a choice... And when all the new part of the scenario will be transferred to the game, I plan some interactivity with my subscribers about the further development of the story.

The devlog is continuing.

I've been busy this week writing and correcting the new part of the scenario. I will start moving this part into the game next week, as there wasn't time for it this week.

There are some interesting new plot twists in the continuation of the game. The main character meets with Laraya and her friends. He tells them about his upcoming plans, which elicits mixed reactions from the girls.

On the one hand, what the main character is planning may help him get out of the game he has gotten himself into. On the other hand, it could lead to greater dangers.

The girls are trying to convince the main character that there are, perhaps, other ways to get back to the real world, and they are fully committed in finding those ways. Of course, it is possible that what the girls are talking about could lead to even greater dangers. But after all, that is what is the key to a good adventure.

The main character will face a choice that will affect the further development of the plot and what adventures will take place.

And, of course, the actions of this part of the scenario will not do without situations related to the difference in the size of the girls and the main character.

All of this, so far, has not been transferred to the game, as I didn't have time this week. But, nevertheless, the working build has been updated, though the update was minor.

I had some time left this week to create another image for a secondary cutscene. What the cutscene is was told in a previous post.
