Doujin Commission Status #4 & Status Update
Hello everyone! The month flew by real quick, huh? Unfortunately, most of my current projects are the ones that take most time, so please bear with me. I'll give you a few sneak peeks though.
Doujins
I've had a blast this month, as evident by the quantity. As expected, most of them short, but I have plans to tackle bigger works in the future. Commissions are also open!
Gensokyo In Love - A small series which focuses mostly on Flan being in love with a human. Because she's so awkward, it often ends up in a disaster!
[Tsuki no Kurai Bubun (ami2)] Chikashitsu no Amanojaku - This one's hardcore, so be warned. Seija is having a rough time. But she'll be alright, she just needs to lay down for a bit.
[Tanimachi Maid] Danchi Shoujo | The Apartment Girl (Pants OF LIFE) - A random commission (thanks!). Adorable and cute. The guy is kind of a creep though.
(C85) [100yenMoFA (Mirino)] Suwa Soap - I had my eyes on this one for several years now, and I finally made it. Learning adult things with gentle and patient Suwako!
(Shuuki Reitaisai 5) [HORIC WORKS Shuppan Jigyoubu Shiodome project (Miyoichi)] Amanojaku Kusakunai|Amanojaku Don't Smell! - Rare hairy Seija doujin. 'Nuff said.
(Reitaisai 13) [LightGuide (Kisamu)] Amanojaku no Jouji | Love Affair With An Amanojaku - Seija catches some guy for a quick fun.
[apart] Seija no Ero Manga - Seija's husband (you) has a kinky idea for a roleplay...

This one's a doozy. Every time I want to translate some section, it turns out to be a part of a massive intertwined chain of various functions, which of course also have a lot of events and text.
In any case, I've started tackling the main medical examination screen, and currently I'm halfway through the treatment descriptions, each one having its own file with extra text, so it's taking a while.
Additionally I managed to update the game to the latest version that included a lot of useful changes, making many items stronger and easier to craft among other things. Oh, and also 22 new dialogues!
As a bonus, I've implemented the sprites for each character (from PatchCon). They do look real nice, don't they?
Captured Amanojaku
For Seija's game, I've completed the area before the Village, which includes Nitori's shop, Hakurei Shrine&The road leading to it, and a broken bridge area, along with every related dialogue. After that, I went and completed Scarlet Devil Mansion area, with Mystia's stall (with all of the guests) and the entire SDM cast dialogue. At the same time, I'm also completing Seija's sexual actions bit by bit, and by my estimations I might have them all done by the time I finish all the maps!
Next up will be finishing the miscellaneous areas like Eientei and Old Hell, after which I can finally start tackling the Village.
In case I haven't mentioned, Village is like the biggest hub of all the characters and cameos, it has numerous interiors with big quest lines such as Suzunaan, Youkai Exterminator, Keine's School, Underground Gambling Den, Wrecked Shop, and so on. And to top it all of, the central area has 7 variations for each day of the week! But slow and steady wins the race.

It's starting to feel like this game's in a backburner for me, huh? Well, kinda. I was still doing a lot of work in the background, steadily making progress on Reisen's expansion and Nazrin's proofreading. Once again, thanks to all the participators, particularly JPAnon, AnonTW and dialogue translators.
As of now, the game development has split with some people working on their own branch, which I think is great actually. For the first time in years I see other people contributing code changes and fixes, plus original content dialogue. I'm not the type who can focus on one thing for too long, so if it happens that they take over the maintenance, I wouldn't mind that too much.
As for future plans, I want to update the game (which will be a pain given the amount of changes), and also implement certain features such as refactoring the save data update process itself. It always takes forever, and looks intimidating for newcomers who get bombarded with irrelevant questions they have no idea about. So instead, I thought it'd be better to separate important dialogue updates that can run silently in the background from all the various options and switches per characters, and move the latter to a new tab in the status screen called Character Settings. There you can choose between dialogues and tweak every single option individually whenever you want, instead of having to run the entire update thing just so that you could change one setting.
After Reisen and Nazrin are done, I can finally get back to translating characters from my list here. Can't wait for that.
See you soon!
