I hope all of you are doing well, and that you are healthy and full of energy.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the best news for you. Due to certain circumstances, I will have to take a break from development for at least a month (if more time is required, I will inform you later).

This is related to issues with the tax authorities in the country where I became a tax resident in order to reduce my tax payments. Starting in January of this year, the tax legislation in that country changed, and now I have to go through an unpleasant bureaucratic process with documents to report all the income I receive (everything is in order, I just need to gather a large number of documents), as well as change the legal status of my business in accordance with the new laws (the government slightly increased the tax rate).

I really hoped there wouldn’t be any problems when I submitted my documents to the tax office at the end of January, but unfortunately things didn’t go as smoothly as expected. I recently received a response, and now I understand that I will need to spend additional time and energy dealing with it.

It will be difficult for me to combine full development work with running around various offices, so I’ve decided to temporarily pause work on finishing the update.

Patreon billing has been paused, and none of you will be charged until the new update is released. Only after the release will I resume billing. If you’re subscribed to us on any platform other than Patreon and don’t want to continue paying while we’re unable to work on the game, please cancel your subscription for now.

I sincerely hope that there won’t be any additional complications or legal proceedings.

While I’m away, I will ask Nu’ar Studios to occasionally share some renders with you that they continue to work on. They won’t be able to show much, but it’s better than complete silence.

I hope for your understanding. It’s very unfortunate that I have to do this, but the circumstances leave me with little choice.

As soon as things start getting back to normal, I will make sure to let you know.
