Delivering bad news is an unpleasant business. That's exactly why it's bad news. But, I think too much time has passed since the last post, and I need to keep you updated.

Broadly speaking, I can describe the current state of affairs as follows: no changes.

I am still running back and forth with a pile of statements from various banks to convince the tax authorities that I wasn't hiding my income. And they still can't come to a final decision on my case.

But, be that as it may, things have finally started to move forward. At least, I want to believe so.

Personally, I am not returning to the development process just yet. I lack the desire and the right mindset while these proceedings are ongoing. I think you will understand. When your head is constantly occupied with other things, it's hard to catch the focus you need.

Overall, that is how things stand for now.

Finally, I want to add a very important point: the game is not abandoned. Seriously!

Some people are already writing on various forums that the game is abandoned and won't be continued. Do you seriously think I would drag things out like this, making up excuses just to avoid directly writing, "The game is abandoned!"? If I wanted to do that, I would simply close the Patreon and that would be it. But I'm not doing that because it sure as hell isn't abandoned, and as soon as I finish my business with the tax authorities, I will immediately return to its development.

And, of course, I will continue to put the billing on pause every month, so you don't have to worry about your money if you are still subscribed to me. They are safe.
