Original Character Chimera is Here!
Model of my original character — Chimera.
The full rig was set up in Maya 2024 using MGear tools based on Epic components.
To work with the rig you will need:
• MGear (version V5.2.1)
• ngSkinTools (version V2.4.0)
• MGear (version V5.2.1)
• ngSkinTools (version V2.4.0)
Before building the rig:
- Set the Maya project to the MayaProject folder.
- Import the file ProxyMeshes.ma from \MayaProject\data.
This is required for the facial rig to function correctly. Once the full rig is built, the proxy meshes can be safely deleted.
Known issue:
There is a skinning problem on BodyFurPlane.
To fix it, simply perform Add Influence from the rig_deformers_grp group and copy the skin weights from the Chimera geometry.

Customization
You can disable the existing clothing and replace it with other outfits (the clothing collection will be expanded later).
A Breast Compress attribute has been added to the rig element specifically for clothing that compresses/squeezes the breasts.
