Hey! I was following your installation tutorial on YouTube and faced this error after checking the “loaded” on in the plug-in manager: // Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "ahogeTools".
Also will note that I had to browse the mll file manually because my plug in manager didn’t see the ahoge file. I may think that the problem is in the location of my ahoge plugin? But I’m not sure where to put it (I were trying to put it into C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2024/plug-ins, but when I do so the ahoge_module folder imports as empty folder). I’ve also tried to run the plug in from desktop location also didn’t work. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
I’m using maya 2024.2 version

anna k, it's because environment isn't setup correctly, Maya doesn't know where Ahoge's scripts are. install.mel might have failed for some reason.
You can setup the environment manually. Here is a guide https://ahoge.wiki.gd/en/installation
Edit Maya.env at C:\Users\%username%\Documents\maya\2024
So it looks something like this:
MAYA_MODULE_PATH=%MAYA_MODULE_PATH%;D:/projects/ahoge/ahoge_module
MAYA_MODULE_PATH environment variable needs contain the path to ahoge_module
Now. that I'm thinking about it, I should probably write that the plugin needs to be unzipped.

anna k, there's a newer version of the plugin now. I forgot to mention.

Joi, I don't own a Mac. I can't afford it, really. It might be possible to do with a virtual machine, but I haven't researched it yet.
