WAHA 2023.7 - Session-specific Webhooks, Proxy, and Presense information!
We are excited to announce the release of WAHA 2023.7. This new update brings several important changes that enhance session control and provide more flexibility for you.
1. Session-specific Webhooks
In the previous version, webhook endpoints were configured globally using environment variables. However, with WAHA 2023.7, you can now assign unique webhook endpoints to individual sessions. This means that each session can have its own webhook configuration, allowing for more granular control over events and notifications associated with that session.
2. Proxy Support
Another significant improvement in this release is the addition of proxy support. You can now connect sessions via proxies, both on a global level and per session. This means that you can configure proxy settings individually for each session or apply global proxy settings for all sessions. This feature provides greater customization and flexibility when it comes to network connectivity.
3. Presence Information
WAHA 2023.7 introduces the capability to retrieve the online presence status of contacts. You can now easily obtain the presence information of a specific contact by calling the respective endpoint or by receiving a webhook event. This feature allows for better tracking and monitoring of contact availability.
What are our current projects in the pipeline?
During the months of July and August, our primary focus will be on addressing small but essential improvements – those specific requests that you've been patiently waiting for.
Furthermore, in September and October, we hope to introduce remote storage support. This addition will greatly benefit projects with numerous sessions, allowing them to maintain a simplified infrastructure.
