The “Status Update” section is back again! As you know, Build_3 represents another technical but important step in transitioning the game from Ren’Py to Unity 6. Perhaps the game will move away from the traditional visual novel format and evolve into a gameplay style similar to jRPGs, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves and discuss what has been achieved over this short week.

The first prototype of localization tools has been developed, allowing anyone to create their own game translations. The structure is as follows:
-- Localization (Located in the root folder of the game)

    > ENG (Example Localization Folder)
The localization folder will contain files for translation, as well as a custom fonts file. The standard font will only support English and Russian alphabet characters.

And the most basic thing that has been done is the Menu and Settings. The game background will now be rendered in the engine, which will also allow people to evaluate the current graphics settings.

That’s all for now. Most likely, the release of Build_3 may be delayed until September, if not longer. The transition to a new engine will require much more time due to the fact that the game is literally being written from scratch. I will periodically post updates on the development progress here.
