Daily Update 6/15

Yea it's the 16th now technically... But I still haven't slept yet so it doesn't count for me lol.So what did I do today? Well I powered through getting all the images and animations for the entire new introduction. I also made the 5 new NPCs. Sadly only one person filled out the form on discord for wanting a character added to the game based on them. Big Sad. But I just went to my old faithful. Winging it, and randomly picking names based on discord usernames.Though if you want a character added to the game either A. Based on you, or B. Based on whatever the fuck you want really? like your avatar or whatever. Fill out this form, you can DM it me on discord or here on patreon. Or even just comment on this post as I do leave comments open.But I now have 20 NPCs scattered around the town. I would love to have around 50 per town... There are going to end up being a total of 5 towns... So thats a metric fuckload of characters I have to make eventually so if you fill out the form chances are pretty damn likely you will see your character in the game. The next 30 I make though will all be students at Ranoa. Meaning the outfits they wear are already kinda set in stone with slight changes that can be added in the Special Features section. Well heres the form if you want to give it a go.Characters Name -Male or Female -Hair Color -Hair Lenth -Eye Color -Special Features you want added -Anything else you want to see? -Ok onto the todo list.Things to add for the Beta 1 Update

-New game introduction. - Done 6/15

-Pursena - Story, Convos, and Dates - Not Done - Waiting on writer

Should be 2 or 3 positions on the dates.

-Add some more dialogues for random people in town. - Done 6/15

-Create 5 new NPC characters - Done 6/15

-Add NPC characters to randomly picked maps, 2 maps at different times of day, 1 conversation at each location. - Still need to do this

-Convert renders from png to webp

-Rename and organize all renders

Coding - Not Done - This will take between one and 2 days.

Testing - Not Done - Let's be real, no matter how much I test it, it will not be enough, one of you will find a bug, which will be fixed the update after. But I will be spending a full day just on bug testing.That list is getting mighty short isn't it.. Very nice, means the update is going to be ready very soon.The only renders and animations I have left to get before I can start the coding process is get some random shots of the new NPCs around town.

Then make some imagebuttons making them clickable.

I also need the stuff for the dates. But I still have not received the dialogues from the writer yet.

If he doesn't have that ready tomorrow I will just wing it, like I did with the first 3 characters dates.

So no matter what I will have all the renders and animations done by tomorrow. So that I can begin the renaming and organizing images process.

Then if I have time tomorrow I will start the coding.Well I will talk to you all later? Tomorrow? You know what I mean when I wake up, work for like 12-20 hours then post the next daily update. But at this rate it will be out on the 17th and I will just skip the 16th's daily update because I will probably be working for many hours. But like I said the update for Alpha 2 will be posted to itch.io and f95zone tomorrow. And I am opening it up for free members on Patreon now because they get it a day earlier than the other sites.
