How words can play with the Soul
If you are a little attentive and sincere, you can find amazing things where you don’t expect them. For example in words. For example, in French language.
See what you can find in it right on the surface.
Of course, we do not claim the truth. BUT. The verb “Chanter” - to sing, chant, “produire des sons mélodiques” is defined by the Reverso dictionary. There is a prefix “en” in French, which very often means to enter into some state. For example, flamme - flame, enflammer to ignite, ignite, cadre - frame, administrative worker, encadre - to insert into a frame, to lead and install, including the administrative apparatus, that is, immersed in it.
Now by analogy. What do the French say when they meet someone? “Enchanté(e)” - enchanted. If you look, the verb “chanter” is in the participe passé, passive voice, a person is in a state when a melody is played in him, a song, when the soul sings.
In other words, experiencing the beneficial influence of a meeting, ideally, a person is brought into a state of melody of the soul, when the strings play thanks to (thanks to) a pleasant meeting.
One more example.
“Ami(e)” - friend, girlfriend in French. "Ame" - soul. Common root "AM". Hence, a friend is a person with whom communication occurs through the soul, a person of the soul, a person of the soul.
Distantly stands “aimer” - to love, where the root “AM” has been somewhat modified, but is still clearly distinguishable. You can truly love only with your soul. Without it, “love” is just an agreement, a habit.
Chinese sage Laozi, author of the work “Tao Te Ching” - “The Book of Path and Dignity” (I strongly recommend reading in Borushko’s translation), which is the fundamental source of the teachings of Taoism. Lao Tzu was often depicted riding a donkey. According to one legend, this sage left the city before his death and rode beyond the horizon on a donkey. After that no one saw him.
Another sage who rode into the city on a donkey after people had already recognized him as a sage.
There was such a deity in ancient Egypt, depicted with the head of a donkey.
God Seth, who, among other things, personified the animal nature in man, including his reflexive-instinctive behavior.
Speaking about traditions and legends, you need to understand that they had not only a direct transmission of meaning, but also a figurative, veiled essence.
Why do wise men ride donkeys? Because they saddled their animal part, became stronger than it, its masters, but not its servants, freeing their spirituality from the corrupting influence of the animal human nature.
Now let's return to the French language.
"Ane" is a donkey. And here, in the light of the above, you can see a subtle point. The difference between “âme”, the soul, and “âne”, the donkey, is just one letter. A soulful person turns into a donkey as soon as he is desouled. Having lost contact with his soul, a person turns into a donkey, the “spiritual” urges to create are replaced by donkeys and animals for consumption and violence.
The soul is replaced by the donkey's essence. The man outwardly looks the same as before, but with soulless donkey habits. He still looks like a soulful person, as if the word “âne” resembles the word “âme” in appearance.
In the first case, the donkey rides on the soul, in the second, the soul rides on the donkey.
