What do you think of these Friday US/Iran negotiations? Do they have a chance? Araghchi's letter said they will work off the 15 point US and the 10 point Iranian proposals. I assume both Iranian reparations and US demands for disarmament both get nixed. Iran and Oman get transit fees on Hormuz in lieu of reparations at a guess. Basing? No idea. Many of them are wrecked, the important equipment is destroyed and takes years to replace and the US basing strategy has been ridiculously asinine for more than a decade.
