IF Russia has to go all the way to the Polish border AND this takes another 3 years AND they have to grow their military by hundreds of thousands to occupy all of Ukraine, is there a point at which the Russia people or elites balk a la Gilbert Doctorow's recent scenario? Or as long as Russia is relentlessly winning will everyone stay on board?

If the US actually fought in an actual war they would lose and the entire world , seeing this weakness, would join Brics -immediately crushing the USA-- Therefore to manage this crisis they use Strategic ambiguity. Drain opponents resources with "leaked" deployments , misinformation, and bluffing to lengthen out their (america's) slow decline.
