Frontal bone reconstruction.

The patient suffered severe head injury in a traffic accident in July 2019. He was transported by air ambulance helicopter from the Uvat district of the Tyumen region to Regional Hospital No. 3 in Tobolsk. The patient had a depressed splinter fracture of the frontal bone with damage to the frontal lobes of the brain and the upper sagittal sinus in the anterior third.

The patient underwent emergency removal of the depressed bone fragments. The frontal bone defect was immediately closed with a metal mesh plate, which made it possible to restore the integrity of the frontal bone and obtain a good cosmetic result after such a severe trauma.
