After a year of hard work, I am incredibly excited to officially announce the recent release of Version 1.0 of Speech Translator! Your browser should have already updated to this new version by now.

To make the extension faster, more reliable, and much easier to set up, I completely rewrote the core code. I also added the highly requested features from the community.

🎙️ New Capture Options (Easier Setup!): No more complicated audio setup! You can now directly capture system-wide Desktop Audio, a specific browser tab, or your Microphone/VoiceMeeter in just a click.

💬 Dual Translation (Highly Requested!): You can now translate your speech into two different languages simultaneously and display them side-by-side. Perfect for multilingual streamers!

📺 Compact View Mode: A clean, subtitle-style display with dynamic timing, heavily optimized for livestream overlays in OBS.

🔊 Translation Read Aloud (TTS): The extension can now read translations out loud, automatically lowering the original audio volume so you can hear clearly.

✨ Advanced Features: Offline Speech Recognition (zero latency on Chrome), plus new top-tier translation engines like DeepL, Papago, Bing, Yandex, VolcTrans, and more.

With this update, your active subscription brings you even more value! It unlocks advanced capabilities, such as Dual Translation, natural voices for Translation Read Aloud, and top-tier translation engines.
