Hi!
Except for the fact that polishing of the light version of Final Exam is still ongoing, the game can be considered complete. At least, all content has already been uploaded to the game, and there will be no new additions to this version.
Currently, two levels out of five have been polished. Development is in the final stages, with just a little bit left to go. I ask everyone who is interested to be patient.
I could have done more, but this week I ran into a small problem with the game's music. I don't know how to write music, and I'm afraid to download music from free sources, as this content may be stolen. Although I used free music in the working builds, I did not plan to use it in the final version of the game.
For the final version, I purchased a set of tracks through Steam. I only had enough money to buy one set, so I spent a long time choosing from the products in my price range. In the end, I settled on one option. Unfortunately, the music tracks from the purchased set were not suitable for endless seamless playback in the game. I needed to edit them somehow to get what I wanted. I wanted the music to repeat without pauses or fade-outs. But, alas, I don't know how to edit music files, and I don't have time to learn specialized programs. I found several online editors, but their functionality was not sufficient for my needs. Fortunately, my followers came to help me. Many thanks to everyone who responded to my request for help. It is thanks to all of you that I got exactly the result I expected. Your help is invaluable!
Well, now this game has a soundtrack. And even though the melodies aren't quite what I wanted, given my dire financial situation, this is the best option.
To be honest, I didn't think working with music would cause so many problems. However, now I can get back to polishing.
Over the past week, I haven't been able to create the usual number of images, so I added some old images that I hadn't planned to publish to the gallery update.
If you are interested in the development process, please follow the posts.
Many thanks to everyone who supports me.
