More detail about the character, please!
This week, I also have watched "The Death of Robin Hood" (directed by Michael Sarnoski, with Hugh Jackman in the title role) at the cinema. If you can, I'd recommend checking for and watching it, I think the portrait of the character is quite matching yours and might be a good source of inspirations for his particular storyline in your 'verse.

Andrea Camorani, I was planning on watching it, but I feel like it portrays Robin Hood as some kind of villain, and that doesn't fit my canon. After all, I've never strayed from the Disney version.

Sherwood Pavel, Not a full-blown villain, but I don't want to give you further spoilers. You are not anyway forced to take any version of the character as whole, you can take some bits and make a synthesis as well. I'd thus still highly recommend watching the Jackman movie too, it might give some interesting elements to your depiction of the Disney's version.
