Love and Politics 1-3
For some, this was obvious. However, for those inclined to believe in fairy tales, it might seem cynical. And yet, everyone knows what a monarchy is.
Does Pavel mean to say that the entire plot of the cartoon was also part of Richard's plans? Don't you know how the crown can plan? Of course, this is precisely why Robin is mysteriously drawn to that garden, why Klucky maintains a relationship with a criminal, and why Marian is so eager to give herself to some unknown boy from childhood.
It's all part of the Norman King Richard's plan to control the Saxon peasantry. This marriage also resolves many issues in the north of England, including putting an end to the Norman opposition of the regent, John.
Of course, Richard had planned for everything for years to come. But he didn't take into account one detail: the appearance of Pavel. And this, I believe, is the most legendary aspect of my story. Invading this legend and destroying the royal scenario of this event is what I've been doing for 3 years now.
The thing is, I deeply regret the fates of all those whose childhoods were like those of a purebred dog, who was matched with a mate from the next cage at birth. Medieval monarchy is not a subject for the faint of heart. See that cutie Bella? In reality, she married Prince John at 13. Meanwhile, John himself had his first marriage at the age of 8 or 9, to a girl who later died of illness. It's all utterly bizarre.

Might be interesting to take advantage of this situation to dig a bit in the dualities of the characters, I always have find fascinating Robin's mixture of noble ends and wrong means on one side and as a mirror the feels him and Marian has for each other. I recently even sketched her in a darker, shadowier dress, I think this kind of outfit better emphasize this kind of character and might be interesting to sometimes see her having to deal with her past and her current lingering inner complexities.
