ToshA_OnlineSystem — current work in progress
I'm developing ToshA_OnlineSystem, a module designed to bring real online functionality into RPG Maker MZ and make multiplayer projects significantly easier to create.
One of the key ideas behind this system is accessibility. A single person can run the server on their own PC, and other players can join the game simply by opening a link in their browser. They don't need to download the client or install anything on their machine. This allows anyone to host a session and instantly invite friends to play.
The system already includes a working server, player connections, browser-based access, synchronized movement with interpolation, a chat system, and item trading between players. Characters see each other, move smoothly across the map, and interact in real time.
I'm currently expanding support for online-synced events and functionality that lets creators designate which in-game events should be executed for all connected players.
Work continues, and I'll keep sharing updates as the system evolves. If you have ideas or questions, feel free to share them.
