Devlog / News (0.0.2 in progress)
Hi everyone!
This will be a regular devlog/news series where I share progress on The Dungeon Of Desires and everything happening around the project.
Good news first: the project has finally been indexed on itch.io
Thank you all for the support - it genuinely helps a lot.
Right now I’m actively working on version 0.0.2. This update is focused on:
- fixing current bugs and rough edges
- improving the visual presentation
- adding more sound effects
- making combat encounters feel better and clearer to play
Here’s a small preview of the improved locations:
All interactive NPCs (and combat encounters) now have their own dedicated rooms/scenes. Next, I want to add more “life” to them - small details, better atmosphere, and more character presence.
One important note: the dungeon isn’t the entire game.
Floor 1 is the beginning of the story, and the project will truly start opening up closer to version 0.1.0, which is already in early planning.
