DEPOSING THE IDOL?

George Galloway made a poll yesterday on MOATS and his social media if "Biden is losing interest in Zelensky and in Ukraine". The majority voted "Yes."
However, the trend seems to be more complex, and it is not only about Biden's preferences and interests (though Taiwan and China are definitely far more crucial for the US than Ukraine), but about the overall trend: it seems that the West is getting ready to throw the Zelenskly regime under the bus. The ways to do that are numerous. However, the current trend shows that there's an attempt to depose the golden idol-like statue of Zelenskiy that they have erected in the past five months.
Several materials appeared in the mainstream media, including one from the Western government-linked NGO: Amnesty International, with its report that simply stated that AFU uses civil infrastructure for military purposes, which is an undeniable war crime. The German Welt published the material on Zelenskiy, exposing the industrial scale of corruption under his rule and the financial crimes of the President himself. The Sky News presenter, Cory Bernardy, made a tough speech, revealing the common facts about the ongoing conflict that have been systematically ignored by the mainstream and literally destroyed Zelenskiy's image in a couple of minutes. The cherry on the cake, the last but not the least: CBS issued a documentary, "Arming Ukraine," exposing that only 30% of the weapons sent to the country reach the front line. And even though they had to remove the tweet and the video due to the enormous troll attack and outrage from people who can't withstand the inconvenient truth, this makes no difference. (By the way, the original, deleted CBS documentary can be watched here). The fact remains the fact, published and unpublished, revealed or hidden. And such revelations are likely to become more frequent in the foreseeable future, since even Western journalists have started to taste what it feels like to report the truth and the facts in a world of lies and blindness that was so blatantly endorsed. Challenges make the reporting more interesting, and the paper walls of lies can't withstand the winds of the truth.
In the Western media, nothing happens by coincidence. So this trend must be taken seriously.
That doesn't mean that the West halts its support for Ukraine. This means that the current regime is becoming inconvenient for the West, and obvious crimes, no matter where they occur: on the battlefield or in the high cabinets, are becoming impossible to hide, and what the West was trying to swipe under the carpet rises this carpet too high above the surface to keep making the pokerface, pretending that everything is fine.
At the same time, a new Ukrainian figure emerges in the media: Valerii Zaluzhnyi. He is a Ukrainian four-star general who serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU. More and more articles emerge depicting the general as a kind of tactical and strategic genius, much loved by the Ukrainian children (an old and forever working PR trick), who loves and protects his soldiers so much and etc. The "Iron General", with Dan Rice as his advisor, appears to be a more convenient figure for the current situation and Ukrainian PR, than the comic and a show-man with a reputation getting ruined in full sight of the international community. Even the glamorous photoshoot worth tens of thousands of dollars amidst the war with Annie Leibovitz won’t help to save the situation.
It seems that Zaluzhnyi is becoming a more convenient for the West than Zelenskiy as a Ukrainian "frontman" and a new Ukrainian Idol. However, this might not be the final option and they might continue testing other figures to occupy the Ukrainian idol pedestal. The time will show.
