Hey there! I'm Nite, the creator and maintainer of the NextGen Modpack for The Sims 4. My goal is simple: to make your gameplay experience as smooth, fun, and hassle-free as possible while giving you the absolute best graphics.

How Early Access Works

Hosting and sharing a massive modpack gets incredibly expensive due to server, high-speed file hosting and bandwidth costs. To help keep the lights on and cover these monthly server bills, all new modpacks and updates are released to my supporters first for a 21-day Early Access period. Once those 21 days are up, the release goes completely public and free for everyone to download!

A Note on Accessibility

My modpack is—and always will be—completely free to download and will never be locked behind perma-paywall. To help offset the ongoing monthly costs of Servers and File Hosting used for sharing the modpack, I will keep it under early access for supporters. Beyond that brief exclusivity window, the modpack will always be made fully available to everyone without restriction, ensuring the core experience remains open and free for all to enjoy.

Small Update and More

Hi everyone! I’m dropping another (small) update involving few mods for subscribers.
The following folders have just been updated on GD and PxD:
  • Utilities
  • WW Animations
  • Default Replacements
  • NSFW Addons
  • Gameplay Addons
Please make sure to remove the older folder before installing the updated versions to avoid duplicates or conflicts.

Modpack Update is now Available

First of all, I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates over the past month and for keeping everyone in the dark. While working on a major upcoming project, I was also unable to respond to many of your questions. I sincerely apologize for that as well, and I’ll strive to communicate more consistently going forward.
This has been one of the biggest modpack updates so far. We analyzed over 1.5 million package instances inside Mods folder, and we've managed to resolve more than 10,000 conflict instances, making this the most stable and conflict-free release yet. There's still some conflicts that I would have liked to resolve, but I don’t think anyone wants to wait any longer.
The updated modpack is now available for download via Google Drive, Torrent and, as promised, Pixeldrain. NextGen Patch will be released within 1-2 days.

Important Notice:

Many conflicting and redundant packages were removed in this update. Because of this, you may encounter missing package errors when loading custom Sims created with a previous version of the modpack. This does not necessarily mean the new update is broken. In most cases, it means the Sim was using clothing, hair, accessories, presets, sliders, or other custom content that was removed due to duplicate, conflicts or other issues.
I also have another big announcement coming soon. It involves something I’ve been working on throughout the past month (and the reason why I was absent). I’ll share the full details about it in a separate post today, along with an update on the current status of Translation and Save file.

Down with Fever

Hi everyone, I’m really sorry to anyone who has been waiting for the save file. I was supposed to share it yesterday, but unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with a viral fever for the past few days. I’ve had repeated bouts of fever for three consecutive days, which I don’t think I’ve ever experienced before.
But I’m getting slightly better with each passing day, and the doctor said I should fully recover in few days. However, staring at the screen for too long still gives me a headache, so I’ll need a little more time before I can properly work on and share the save file.
I’m really sorry for the delay, and thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Broken Mods

  • WW Objects: [Amok]SurrenderSwing(1024)
  • Gameplay Addons: Kawaii Stacy Twitch (remove all the packages and ts4script)
  • Not broken but if you're using Pandasama Birth Mod, remove these two mods (LittleMsSam_RSM_SimToSim_NoFriendshipRelationshipDecay.Package and LittleMsSam_RSM_SimToSim_NoRomanceRelationshipDecay.Package) since it seems to conflict with the birth mod and hide certain interactions.
Special thanks to @casandra_emanuelsson and others for reporting these issues. There's few issues which users are experiencing and I'm currently troubleshooting them, I'll update this post once I've found the root cause. Also, discord server is almost done and will be added very soon.

Quick Update

  • The modpack has been updated for Patch 124.63 again on GDrive. Jottacloud will be updated later today.
  • There are still some issues with the RU translation mods. The translation itself is done, but it seems to be causing crashes during game launch when used with the modpack. I need more time to investigate this properly, so please be patient with me.
  • The update for Patch 125.59 is planned for around July 12–16.
  • I’ve also been receiving a lot more support messages lately, and honestly, it has become difficult to keep up with everything alone. Some issues take a long time to troubleshoot properly, and it’s starting to take away the time and focus I need for the modpack, save file, tray files, and future projects. Because of that, I’ll be setting up a Discord server soon for support, discussion, updates, and community help.
  • I still plan to release Save file and Tray on 5th July. I’ve delayed them long enough and its time to finish it.

Weekly Update

Hello everyone, I have few updates to share.
  • WW Animations and Bug Fixes have been updated on Jottacloud and GDrive. Make sure to download them.
  • Stardew Valley Modpack will be released next month.
  • Update on Save and Tray: I apologize for the delay in sharing the save file and tray. I've been juggling multiple tasks from translation to creating different modpack and many things at the same time which has slowed my progress, but I plan to release both the tray and save file (or at least part of it) within this month (most likely at the end but definitely will be released this month, that's final). A teaser will be released next week, and you can judge the save file for yourself. Once again, I apologize for the delay.

Sunblind Installer

Hi everyone, I noticed some people having confusion around installing Sunblind (Realistic Lighting Overhaul mod for Sims 4), so I've created a one-click installer to make the process easier.
Steps:
1) Download the Installer
2) Download Sunblind
3) Select Sunblind.zip and Game Directory in Installer
4) Click Install
That's it—it's that simple. The installer also includes a revert option should you need to reverse the process. The installer also supports Milk Thistle (another great Maxis-Match lighting overhaul), or any other lighting mod (given they have Delta and Data folders inside them).
