Dev Update! 11/25/25

Hey, friends! Hope you’re all well this week!
I’ve basically got Season 1 finished up, and now I’m just going through the last couple of chapters and making sure I haven’t forgotten to set any variables, and that everything's in the list to migrate over to Season 2. If you're a longtime fan, I know you're probably eager to get your save files updated, and see some of the little tweaks I've made. If you're a newer fan, you may be playing the rest of Season 1 for the first time. Still, forgive me while I take my time. The last thing I want is to screw something up, and cause a bunch of confusion with broken save files. It’s getting there, though.
While I’ve been tied up with that, I haven’t been able to give the upcoming Season 2 chapter the attention I’d like to. But, I did get all the non-Gabby endings for the chapter rendered. You can see part of Mason's in the attached images. So, if all else fails I’ll be putting out a teaser for my $15+ supporters that will allow them to test the save migration system, and play through the chapter to one of several possible endings.
In more general news, I decided to spend a little money to make a secondary rendering setup. It’s not as beefy as my main system, being comprised of a little micro PC and an eGPU, but it’ll allow me to actually multitask on renders, in a way I haven’t previously been able to. I spent today organizing my ginormous library of Daz assets and scene files to synchronize across my cloud service of choice, and I'm cautiously optimistic that this may be the silver bullet for the longstanding productivity issue I have, due to my day job's unique schedule.
Some of you who’ve been around for a while might remember I tried this a while back with a laptop. It kinda worked then, but I had a lot of limitations as far as storage, RAM, and the lack of Oculink to connect the eGPU. It made the whole experience so frustrating that it just wasn’t super helpful. I spent more time waiting for scenes to load and save, than I did posing renders. But, I’m hopeful this new setup will allow me to overcome the bottleneck that’s long held me back from maximizing my time. If I start cranking out updates every couple of months, you’ll know it worked.
Besides that, there’s not much to talk about! Season 1 is coming within the next few days, and Season 2’s first chapter will follow not long after, assuming I don’t have any technical hiccups.
As always, thank you for your patience, and your kind support. Take care of yourselves, and I'll see you back here soon!
