Sharing Ukupanipo Hekekia townie makeover now: in my vision, this slightly predatory, yet cheerful and generally kind merman tries to blend in with humans as much as possible, but still stands out thanks to his rather unusual appearance and striking ethnic tattoos. 彡°｡🧜‍♂️

Захотелось поделиться мейковером горожанина Укапанипо Хекекии - у меня этот слегка хищный, но весёлый и в целом добрый русал в своём человеческом обличии старается максимально слиться с толпой - но всё равно выделяется за счёт довольно необычной внешности и броских этнических татуировок. 彡°｡🐚

🖤✦彡 While making over Nia and Lerato Sarpong (whom you can download for free here), I thought a lot about Nia's life before she gave birth and moved to Nordhaven. The game's original lore hints at her affair with some underground dude (probably a tattoo artist, but that's a no-no for my save because of the time period), from whom Lerato was born. He was also likely African-American (judging by Lerato's genetic and certain details in Nia's outfits and her unique hairstyle in the game, which suggest she's proud of her ethnicity).

I fantasized what that Nia's ex and Lerato's dad would look like if they lived in the 70s. At one point, I even considered making him an Alien; but instead, I decided to convey his "alienness," his detachment from the outside world (which, in my opinion, led to a conflict and breakup with Nia) through other means. This sim was a real test for my inner stylist (by the way, I took image-making courses and even worked in fashion for a year, and styled a few looks for a movie; I might tell y'all about it one day). If you think he's weird, you're not imagining things. That's how I see him, too.

I am adding this Sim to my game so that Lerato can see his father occasionally. The story of the mom and daughter Sarpong (Lerato obviously has her mother's last name) gains more depth and perspective this way. That's why I decided to share this Sim in public access–maybe someone else will enjoy this kind of story, too. 彡✦🖤
