Когда наберется 10 подписчиков, я начну разработку нового мода. When I get 10 subscribers, I will start developing a new mod.

More arena!

I published the previous 2 posts for a reason.
The plot spoiler is the backstory for the new mod.
I didn't just say I wanted to develop the idea of an arena.
The usual (non-secret) ending was supposed to be: Lazarius escapes through the time rift and we follow him into a time loop in another dimension.
So I have 2 starting points, the time loop and the arena.
What I want to end up with. A mix of roguelike and dungeon crawler genres. Let's call it rogue crawler.
Advantages:
1. will reduce bugs and allow for quicker fixes since there will be little content.
2. fast development. The first version can be done in a couple months.
3. I'm curious to see what happens.
Disadvantages:
1. Lack of plot and mystery.
Based on this, I see the development process in two phases:
1. Creation of a mod - arena for testing mechanics.
2. Creation of a full-fledged mod with a story and riddles based on what will be done and tested in the arena.
Again, why I brought up the roguelike genre.
Games in this genre are my favorite. The whole process is divided into runs that last between 15 and 30 minutes. In the process, you gain resources that allow you to progress further. I can do an endless mode!
Initially in the arena in GoK I planned that it would not be possible to kill the party, the round would just end without rewards. Unfortunately it was not realized.
So in the new arena, I want to remind you of a feature of the LOG2 engine itself. This is importing a ready group from your save. You start the arena, go a few rounds, save, die and start again with a stronger group. How do you like this idea?
Write your opinions. Wait for news. Good luck!
