CCNA Certification Updates

Cisco is adjusting its Cisco Network Engineer Certification (CCNA) Routing and Switching Certification, which will pay more attention to Software Defined Networks, Network-based Analysis and Network Function Virtualization.

Therefore, CCNA Updates focus on six main aspects: Programmable Network Architecture, Virtualization Network Function (NFV), Policy-based Network Management and Service Quality, Network-based Analysis, Enterprise VPN Technology for Intelligent Wan and Routing for Internet of Things.

Cisco predicts that 96,000 new network jobs will be added in the industry over the next four years, and it is necessary to ensure that future administrators understand the new situation of programmable networks and the importance of Cloud-based Computing.

Cisco simplified Cisco CCNA three years ago, reducing the Core Routing and Exchange Expertise required by administrators to obtain CCNA Voice, CCNA Security and CCNA Wireless Certification.

Pass any of the 642-XXX Professional Examinations that are currently available.

Pass any of the currently available Cisco Expert Tests (excluding Sales Specialist, MeetingPlace Specialist, Cisco Telepresence Installations [ITI], Cisco Virtual Classroom, or any of the 650 Online Tests)

Pass any of the CCIE Written Tests currently available, current Cisco CCDE Written Test or current CCDE Practice Test.

Extend the validity of low-level certification through interview with Cisco Certified Architect (CCAR) and audit by CCAR Committee.
