Why ten? Because that’s a warband! Once we reach this mark, I’ll hold a council for my supporters to decide the name or look of a minor detail in game

About

Hey! I had an idea for a game and decided to give it a shot.

Weekly!

Hello everyone! Development is progressing according to schedule. I am gradually finishing work on Lotta's arc, which will further explore her relationship with the main character.
Currently, about half of the renders for the planned scenes are complete, and the text is fully written.
I expect to release the version in the near future, once I wrap up the current tasks.
In parallel, I am thinking about how to improve in-game navigation, and so far, I’ve come up with a map. Here is a preview of what it might look like:

Plans

Hey everyone!
Now that the potion-crafting system is all set up, I want to speed up the gameplay pacing a bit and flesh out the game with more actual content.
For instance, the next location on my list is the bathhouse.
Where did the peasants wash their clothes? In the river? Yes. But did they do it all by themselves? I'll answer the question of who helped them in the game itself, though I bet you can already guess ;)
Check it out, here is how it turned out:

Update 0.2 is here!

FIXES
Fixed text and sprite rendering on the dialogue screen.
Fixed errors in inventory logic and system variables.
Conducted a series of minor and medium technical fixes for the UI and game engine after the v0.1 release.
PLOT
    Added the basement story arc.
    Added item synthesis mechanics.

Update coming soon

Hey guys!
No spoilers today—the next build should be ready by the 7th or 8th.
At the moment, I’m just grinding through playtest bugs, tweaking images, and cleaning up the text.
I’ll drop the changelog together with the release.
I'm also thinking ahead to summer. I want to speed up the release pace a bit, even if it means focusing on a single character branch per update. We'll see!
Appreciate you all!

Weekly!

Hey everyone! I've been drowning in images this week, making unique ones for almost all the planned scenes, and I'll start adding them to the game soon.
I've also been pushing ahead with the text and code, but haven't gotten around to the music yet. I'd love to have it, but I'll only be able to dedicate time to it after the main stages are done, if I manage to clear them ahead of schedule.
The Statue...
The cold marble seemed almost alive in the flickering light. The proportions were flawless, but the pose...

Weekly!

Hello everyone!
It has been a highly productive week. I have polished the previous text, fixed a number of bugs, and noticeably refreshed the game's visuals.
Added a new mechanic that will occupy an important place in the gameplay. I am currently thoroughly testing it, balancing the process to ensure it avoids tedious grinding.
Made the interface more responsive. Players can now select characters by clicking directly on them rather than searching through the right-hand panel. For those who prefer the traditional layout, a toggle has been added to the settings to revert the changes.

Small post

Hey there! As promised, here is a Friday update.
No previews this time—I've been focusing purely on the text.
  • Drafted a detailed plan for the upcoming update.
  • Started working on the herb and plant gathering mechanics (it’s going to be a mini-game in the forest and the basement).
  • The basement will finally be cleared out!
  • Players will be able to start earning their first coins, bringing them closer to that 10 silver pieces goal.
  • Tressa
  • Sylvia
  • Lotta (featuring a new location + her job)
I'll be dedicating all my time to implementing everything into the engine and handling the renders.
(By the way, I’ve already patched the bugs that were pointed out to me following the release!)

It’s been an impressive start

The game is out, and I’m honestly blown away by all the attention it’s getting. It really motivates me to keep going.
I’ve already started putting together a detailed update plan, and I’ll start sharing some plot teasers with you very soon. Some players have reported a few bugs; since they aren’t game-breaking, I’ll be fixing them alongside the development of the next part.
I took a little breather after the launch, but now I’m diving back in to work on the update. Stay tuned—I should have something new to show you by Friday!

My cat needs to eat, and a fed cat means a working developer. This is exactly the same as the previous tier, just a bigger tip. Thank you for helping keep the project (and my pet) alive!

There are absolutely no extra rewards here, just pure gigachad energy. You're tipping this much simply because you believe in the game and want to throw money at the screen. You have my absolute respect.
