When Val (Dan Futterman), Armand’s son with a long-ago fling (Christine Baranksi), announces his plans to marry the daughter (Calista Flockhart) of a conservative senator and his wife (Gene Hackman, Dianne Wiest), Armand and Albert attempt to appear as the perfect future in-laws.
