RomCom: Divergence 0.1.4.2 - Public Release

Hello everyone!
This public release contains Episode 1: Chapter 4 and the Christmas event.
Thank you for your support, and merry Christmas! (Maybe not?)

Changelog:

  • 20 events
  • 1,284 renders (´∀｀；)
  • 2 simple animations
  • Special event: Christmas 2025 (51 renders, 140 layered assets)
  • 100+ layered assets used for dynamic scene composition
  • Replaced 91 renders from Chapter 3


0.1.4.2: Fixed an issue with loading older saves.

Dev Note:

To start the Christmas event, you’ll need to see Hap-chan in the Class Council first (Game Info → Characters → Hap-chan), then click/tap on the Christmas decorations in your save spot.
I experimented a bit for this new chapter and would appreciate some feedback on the following points:
  • Pseudo-animations (2–6 looping renders with sound effects).
  • Transitions between renders and dialogue lines (more sound effects, shaking, and slightly lengthened 'white noise' transitions).
  • Overall pacing of the chapter.

Tier 1 - Background character

$2.79 per month
-Access to subscriber-only posts
-Your name in the credits (Contact me if you’d prefer to opt out)
Class Council: (Q&A event held at the end of each episode)
-Random selection to fill any seats left vacant by higher tiers
-Submit a question or comment to the character of your choice

Tier 2 - Kouhai

$7 per month
Includes all rewards from Tier 1
-Early access to updates (1 week in advance)
-Scene Scribbles: Your name will appear in a location of your choice during the next chapter (from a selection I’ll provide)

Tier 3 - Classmate

$14 per month
Includes all rewards from Tier 2
-Access to lewd previews
-Misaki’s Treasure Box: Access to a growing collection of unused renders, updated with every new chapter release
Class Council:
-A desk will be randomly assigned to you, with your name on it
-Customize your desk with one item of your choice (within reason)
-Say something to the character of your choice (x2)

Tier 4 - Senpai

$21 per month
Includes all rewards from Tier 3
-Scene Scribbles: Write a short message in a location of your choice during the next chapter (from a selection I’ll provide
-Katsumi's Notes: Access to lore and worldbuilding snippet
