Retaroy left her village alone to travel by train. She had never imagined something like this could happen to her. Her parents had discouraged her from going to the city, as she had never lived alone. But this time, she had decided to stay away from home. In fact, Rita roy had left her village for the first time in search of a job. She had somehow managed to graduate in the village, but moving to a big city to work was the biggest step of her life. She had never imagined that one day she would go to work in a city like Delhi. Leaving the village was not easy. She had had to argue with her family many times. For the past few years, she had been constantly explaining that she wanted a job and that moving to the city was necessary. Finally, the day came when, with both hopes and fears, she set out for the city in search of a job.
Even though her parents were angry, and her brother didn't even want to see her face, everyone came to see her off at the station. Before the train departed, Tanya's father went to get water. At that very moment, her mother opened the corner of her sari, took out some money, and placed it in Tanya's hand. In a soft, teary voice, her mother said, "You don't listen to anyone, but keep this money, dear."Rita roy smiled and said, "Oh, Mom, Dad gave me the money. Keep it with you; if you need it, you'll fight with him." Her mother said with moist eyes, "Son, take this money out when you're all gone. This is for your needs. You're going so far, alone, in the city... you never know what you might need." Understanding her mother's love, Tanya took the money and hid it inside a book in her bag.
The train was about to leave. Everyone got out. Everyone's eyes filled with tears as they bid Rita Roy farewell. Rita Roy waved to her parents from the window. Her mother, holding back tears, raised her hand to say goodbye. Slowly, the train left the station... and Rita Roy's new life had begun.
Rita Roy, sitting on the train, felt saddened by the sight of her parents' sadness. She kept looking out the window until the station was completely behind her. Just then, a woman sitting on the seat in front of her said with a smile, "Hey, daughter, is this your first time going to the city? Your family looked very worried when they saw you off." Rita Roy nodded silently and lay down, facing the other side. Night was slowly falling. Rita Roy hadn't eaten anything yet. Then the same woman said again, "Daughter, eat your food. Have you brought any food?" Then she herself said, "If you haven't, come and eat with me. I've brought more food." And don't be so worried... Look, I'm going to the city alone too. There's no need to worry.
Rita Roy felt a little lighter. She smiled and said, "Oh no, Mother, I'm not worried... I just feel sad seeing my parents sad." Just then, the phone in her bag rang. The woman laughed and said, "Look, it must be your mother calling!" Rita Roy took the phone out of her bag and said, "Yes, it's your mother." She started talking. Meanwhile, the woman took out the food and started preparing it herself.
