Dev Blog #3
Hello, future pioneers! In today's blog we will talk about the skill indicators, monster levels and PvP balance.
Skill indicators
In previous screenshots you could already see how UI looks like in GE Classique. The design of windows and buttons greatly affects immersion, but hardly changes the gameplay, so we think it is a pretty cosmetic change. But there is an element of UI, the change of which in new versions of the game has made the gameplay easier - indicators of skillshots and hit range. We adhere to the classic GE design, so on our server these indicators will work the same as they did 17 years ago. In those years, you couldn't see the range of target skills, and the skillshot indicator had a less flashy design. We believe that this feature will make PvP a little more dependent on player skill.
Oh, I need to check the range of the skill on its description, wait a second please
Locations & monster levels
In older versions of GE, players spent more time in the locations of the new world. Then the meta changed towards farming missions and leveling up in cash zones. How long have you been to, for example, Topolo Durga? In modern versions of the game, old locations are abandoned, lonely monsters walk around them, missing the players.
In GE Classique these locations will become popular again. You will have many reasons to visit them to level up your characters or get a specific drop. In this regard, we want to remind you that the level of all locations was revised at some stage in the development of Granado Espada. On our server, the level of locations will correspond to the original game version 2.0. We invite you to look at the list of locations on the screenshot of the world map that will be available in the game.
Hmm, where is Sedecram?
PvP Balance
Like many players, we are very tired of the PvP-meta of modern versions of GE. The tedious process of endlessly repeating the "selfbuff - skill - soul crystal" cycle discourages the desire to participate in pvp, and sometimes even the desire to play. Do you remember what pvp looked like in the first versions of the game? We invite you to watch the video we made to present this exciting activity.
