Dev Blog #2
Hello, future pioneers! Today we want to talk about some interesting features that we managed to put in order this week and also share with you information about the first strong boss that players will have to face on our server.
Siegmunds
The old Siegmund system is fully tested and ready for use. You can see the difference between Siegmunds from the old versions of Granado Espado and the new ones on the #😈siegmunds channel - we have written a detailed guide describing this feature.
In our opinion, killing Sigmunds is not the way to make easy vis. The rewards for killing them will help you level up your characters faster rather than bring you a lot of money. Making money from the Siegmunds is less lucrative than working with a Ferruccio forge or a Golden Well. Anyway, now you have a chance to get an expensive ring by collecting area vouchers - this will bring some fun to the early-level game.
Fair enough, sure it is useful on my vet lvl!
Secret Rooms
We also want to tell you about a non-trivial mechanic that makes hunting for low-level bosses more attractive. Surely many players who did not play on the first versions of Granado Espado thought: “What are these strange rooms on the mini-map that are not connected by corridors to the main location?”
These are the secret rooms of the dungeons. To gain access to them, you need to obtain a ticket and bring it to a certain location in the dungeon. This interaction does not imply dialogues with the NPC - you have to find the points at which the ticket is activated by yourself.
Tickets have a certain chance of being dropped by hunting bosses from sealed rooms. You can find out more information about secret rooms on the #🔑boss-rooms channel.
Hmm, what will I find inside?
Dekaravia
We present the first serious enemy of version 2.0 - Dekaravia. Probably many of you are used to hunting Dekaravia solo, receiving a small reward for this action on the modern servers. In early versions of Granado Espada, Dekaravia was a demanding person - she does not like being disrespected by visits of high-level characters. In other words, if your level is very different from Dekaravia's level, you will receive a debuff that greatly decreases your stats. Get ready to assemble a strong team of mid-level characters and fight for a worthy reward.
As you can see, the stats of my 100 lvl Karja are completely destructed by the debuff - maybe I should try to kill the boss with another char...
