A certain degree of free time to focus on various Gabi-centric projects in the physical world... thay may or may not involve printing and shipping!

Gabital 37: Commission pay

Commission pay is a form of wage calculation where each employee is paid a percentage of the profits based on their labour.
Commission pay is usually applied in one of its various forms to managers and retailers, but It could - in theory - be applied to most workers. Products are sold by sales reps, but the sale itself isn't happening solely due to the reps' efforts - or that of a marketing team. Base craftsmanship quality of a piece or service is still a factor in any sale and adds to the value of a product.
Gabi is sad
now I'm sad
the sankey on the wall (in slide 1 and slide 3) is not translated.
This is probably fine for the online comic, but if it ever becomes a physical book, I'd like it translated.
Ralph S. (Assistant to the Emperor of Borgo), Huh. I hadn't even noticed the background graph in this one. Will come back to it(hopefully. Eventually><)
The conflict of this strip is not clear to me. What's the problem?
But my solution: if Sneeze wants to work less, that's fine, just have proportionally less profits. He should share expenses for rent and machines still equally (ignoring machine maintenance for simplicity.
Ralph S. (Assistant to the Emperor of Borgo), Seems like that's the way they're going, judging by the payout
I think it should say "7 coins'a'day is good enough for me." Not "7 coins'a'wheel" --> I think that part is also why I am confused. There is confusion for me, one guy says, "23 coins per day! whooo!"
Another guy says, "7 coins per wheel is fine for me."
They are not mutually exclusive. So far they are both paid 7 coins per wheel (I assume.)
So in the text, something isn't quite clear to me.
Actually, maybe the other guy should say, "14 coins per day is good enough for me." or "nah two wheels per day is enough for me, three too much work.."
Something about the 7 coins doesn't make sense because they are all paid 7 coins per wheel (again, I assume.)
Ralph S. (Assistant to the Emperor of Borgo), Pretty sure Sneeze continues doing 2 wheels, which means 14 per day for him.
Also, Gabi needs to get compensated for her administrative time (or they need to all start doing 1/4 of the admin work.)
Ralph S. (Assistant to the Emperor of Borgo), honestly not clear if they share admin or not. Pretty sure diagrams aren't drawn exclusively by Gabi
Update about apartment: no news. The worker at the property management company speaks Russian. Later this week we probably contact them again and try to get an actual estimate out of them.
Ralph S. (Assistant to the Emperor of Borgo), Why do I get the feeling "the estimate" is going to be "when it's ready"?
our notary has sent me a reminder to pay a bill I have already paid. my_press_f
I have sent them a stinky email in German nauseated_face
Ralph S. (Assistant to the Emperor of Borgo), Could also send an angry-sounding one in Russian xD
I tried to donate 69 cents and it currently isn't working, I'll probably try again later.
Ralph S. (Assistant to the Emperor of Borgo), Looks like boosty can be... a bit wonky at times, yeah - albeit usually solving its problems in a day or two. Still, it's one of the reasons it makes me happy we're not paywalling any of the comic xD
