Gabital 91: Vertical integration
Vertical integration is a business strategy in which a company brings multiple stages of production or the supply chain - ranging from raw materials to the final product - under its own control. This can include acquiring suppliers (backward integration) or distributors and retailers (forward integration), allowing the company to improve coordination, reduce costs, and increase control over quality and delivery.
