90: Auction

An auction is a public sale in which the price of a good or service is determined through competitive bidding. Participants place offers, and the item is awarded to the bidder who proposes the best price - typically the highest bid in standard auctions.

I hope Gabi and co can finally get a win now
Darkened Shadow, I really should post "The Gabino Cartel" fan work here now xD
Did you mean to write "artel" in the second-to-last panel, or should it have been "cartel" instead?
Filip Ahlers, "Artel" indeed:

Though we did have a Cartel as well. Let's hope we don't end up with Gabino Cartel after all:
I kinda bought my appartment through something like this :/ The former owner had been dodging appartment charges for 10 years, he was eventually forced to either sell or have the co-ownership auctions the appartment (which basically means a starting price set at how much he owned - way below the price of the appartment) Dude was no angel but he sure as hell got cornered
Thibault Quillery, Selling sounds like the simple choice in that situation. Wonder why it went to auction.
Gabital, As I heard it, the auction was a last resort mesure by the building co-ownership in order to force him to sell ; he had managed to avoid paying appartment charges for 10 years by making token repayements that cancelled legal actions (since he had technically started paying) and then waiting for the next legal action. They basically threatened him with an auction sell to force him to sell on his own. Like I said, he had it coming, but he was not happy about signing off - he just didn't have any choice because the alternative was worse :(
Yes! Go Gabi!
Why do I feel like the chief is gonna be the one to buy the lumber yard? Free wood for his wheels...and he can afford to raise the price even further....
I wonder if there's a page on "Labor Racketeering" coming up.
