Nature of the Wild Lands - Seasons of Skyrim
Description:
The version of the Nature of the Wild Lands mod with support for Seasons of Skyrim is currently being tested, but in my opinion, it's already suitable for regular gameplay.
Compatibility:
Compatible with Seasonal Landscapes, and I strongly recommend using this mod, as it affects the plants and objects that are still not altered in my mod. A patch for this mod is available in the installer and should overwrite the Seasonal Landscapes mod itself. A patch for Seasonal Solstheim is also available. It is likely incompatible with Turn of the Seasons.
Requirements:
Installation:
First, download and install Nature of the Wild Lands
from Nexus, then install Nature of the Wild Lands - Support for Seasons of
Skyrim. It should overwrite all requirements. If you are using the Seasonal
Landscapes mod, select the necessary patch during installation, and ensure that NotWL overwrites it.

When installing the Seasonal Landscapes mod, do not select the patch for NotWL included in the FOMOD; it is outdated, instead, use the patch from me.

Hey, thank you for the mod. For some reason, the game crashes during winter while using seasons of skyrim with this mod. I disabled and enabled a lot of mods and it only crashes with this mod. Just wanted to let you know.

fxckthisworld, I doubt the problem is VRAM. I have 12g VRAM on my 4070 and 64g RAM as well. I do use some textures 4k and higher but most are 2k and I play at 1080p. I stay at a solid 60 fps with ultra trees and grass LOD. I havent uncapped to test but Ive never dipped below the 59 fps i have the game capped at.

Sarah McMorn - were you able to get NOTWL working with Seasonal Landscapes Unfrozen? I'm using NOTWL with Seasonal Landscapes (Not Unfrozen) and I seem to be having a similar problem - crashing in Winter - in my case, when I fast travel anywhere. No problems at all with the other seasons. I also generated seasonal grass which all work perfectly in all seasons. To emphasize, I've tested each season by forcing season via po3_SeasonsOfSkyrim.ini edits and do not crash anytime except in Winter.
My crash logs also consistently mention NavMeshObstacleManager. In case it matters, my GPU is an RTX 4080 with 16 gbs of VRAM and I have 32 gbs of RAM. I don't think this is a memory issue.
As much as I love NOTWL, I'm amazed at SoS- Seasonal Landscapes and I hope there is a fix for this issue. I'm using the most recent version of NOTWL (posted on 4/27). I suspect I'm doing something wrong but can't seem to figure it out. Any troubleshooting ideas appreciated.

Absolutely astonishing work on this mod! The trees are incredible and after zooming around the entirety of skyrim at 1200 speed in winter with a very basic modlist I can say that I really dont think that this mod is causing crashes. Also the trees are absolutely beautiful.

Zacarias Chacon , I was able to get it working if I use the NOTWL newest download on Nexus and specifically use the alternate seasons patch that works for turn of the seasons and unfrozen. Something of note: I was still experiencing constant crashing when fast traveling in winter even with the alternate patch until I removed a custom seasons ini that I had that was left over from a different tree setup that was trying to swap Treepineforest01 (or any other treepineforest) for treepineforestsnow01 (or any other treepineforestsnow). My advice would be to use the alternate seasons patch and to make sure no _WIN.ini is trying to swap for other trees. Also make sure you arent using seasonal landscapes included patch for NOTWL as its out of date.
