Moscow diary
Today I received some money from selling two of my dolls and went to purchase a little bit of the materials I need for my new dolls.
I feel like creating a bunch of comfy teddy bears.
In Russia all the prices skyrocketed in a second and in the teddy supplies store they didn’t have time to put on new price tags yet.
You can see the new prices printed on the separate piece of paper.
I purchased several pairs of glass eyes and some pieces of the mohair and viscose fabrics. I paid double for this, feeling grateful I still can sell dolls abroad and buy new materials. I hope other Russian artists will sell their works abroad because with the new prices it’ll be impossible to work and buy supplies, I think the Russian art collectors may reduce the amount of art they can afford now, as the prices are rising for everything.
I hope to create these new bears soon.
For many days I felt very stressed and upset to make any cute art and I created several art pieces to express my thoughts.
I hope for the peaceful night for everyone.
Saw a lot of green ribbons all over the Moscow.
One of them saying ‘peace for the world’.
