We Are Building Mystery of Ancient Darkness
Some doors should remain closed. Some powers should never be found.
Today we are opening the expedition behind Mystery of Ancient Darkness—a painted 2.5D occult action-adventure set in 1935.
Lord Eugene and Lady Alice Compton enter an ancient Egyptian nightmare to recover their nine-year-old son. This is not a treasure hunt. It is a story about what two parents are willing to become when love gives them a reason to walk into hell.
We are building it our way: no committee design, no quota-driven casting, no sensitivity-reader leash. People first. Story first. Historical atmosphere, danger, scars, and consequences.
This is not a sentence on a napkin. The project already has a working custom runtime, an investor alpha, a visual level editor, a voiced cinematic prologue, and a complete illustrated novella. The evidence is public.
At 1,500 paid subscribers, we can fully develop the game ourselves—without begging investors for permission and without worrying about rent or food.
Explore the project, launch the editor, watch the prologue, and read the novella:
