An indicator of the strength or weakness of an asset based on the Comparative Relative Strength (RSC) indicator.

RSC is an indicator that correlates the price change of one asset with the price change of another, the underlying security.

RSC is calculated by dividing the price of a security (the numerator) by the price of the underlying security (the denominator).

When RSC values rise, the security outperforms the underlying security, and a green line is drawn.

When RSC values fall, this indicates the superiority of the underlying security, and a red line is drawn.

The extremes of the broken red-green line correspond to the extremes of the underlying security with which the comparison is made.

"A security outperforms the underlying security" in this context does not necessarily mean that the price is rising relative to the underlying security, it can also fall. RSC describes only the relationship between the two securities.

The underlying security with which the comparison is made is specified in the indicator settings window.

The idea comes from Tom Williams' book "Mastering The Markets," where he describes Strength Stocks and Weak Stocks in the "Glossary" section.

You can use these principles when selecting stocks for your portfolio.

# Strong Stocks:

Stocks that don't fall when the Index declines are considered "strong stocks."

# Weak Stocks:

Weak stocks are defined as stocks that fall faster when the Index declines and don't rise when the Index rises. Weak stocks rarely show strength when the Parent Index begins to move higher.

Когда есть превосходство базового инструмента - рисуется Красная линия.

Экстремумы ломаной Красно-Зелёной линии соответствуют экстремумам базового инструмента, с которым происходит сравнение.

Ценная бумага превосходит Базовую - в данном контексте не обязательно означает, что цена растет относительно базовой ценной бумаги, она может также и падать.

Базовый инструмент, с которым происходит сравнение, указывается в окне настроек индикатора.

Идея взята из книги Тома Вильямса "Хозяева Рынков", в разделе "Словарь терминов" он описывает Сильные Акции и Слабые Акции.

Эти принципы можно использовать при отборе акций для вашего портфеля.

# Сильные Акции:

Акции, которые не падают при падении Индекса, относятся к "сильным акциям".

# Слабые Акции:

Слабые акции определяются как акции, которые падают быстрее при откате Индекса и не идут вверх, когда Индекс растет. Слабые акции редко демонстрируют силу, когда родительский Индекс начинает движение вверх.
