Actually, it’s all mostly sound manipulation here, but yes, the original version of this loop included a field recording (made in our courtyard in front of our apartment building) blended with the second layer of the loop. There are four layers in this track: wind instruments, tank drums/bamboo chimes blended with the field recording (this layer provides most of the texture), a textural pad, and some strings.
