I do everything on my own and it takes up most of my time. This money will help me keep pouring my heart into what I do.

About

Ambient and Drone artist. I create music under the projects Desolate Horizons, Singing Sorrows, Crystalline Reflections, Sun-Loving Perennials, Pale Winter Sun and Wading Through Decay. All things Ambient.
This is where I share everything I'm working on (demos, full tracks, bonuses, my thoughts on things, giving away free Bandcamp dl codes) and would really appreciate any additional support if you love what I'm doing.

Imagining Peace (Extended Versions) by Desolate Horizons

Over the years, many people have written to me to tell me how much they love this or that track, what these songs mean to them, when they listen to them, or when they'd like to have this or that track playing. As with any artist, I always enjoy reading such things from people, it's always interesting to learn about people's experiences with my music. When the album ‘Somewhen’ was first released, one person who bought the album left a comment about how much they loved the track 'Imagining Peace', describing the feelings in a rather interesting way and saying that they really would have loved it to be much longer than 3 minutes and 26 seconds. I was reminded of this recently, 18 months after the album came out, while the track itself was originally written back in October 2022, which feels like a lifetime ago. So I opened the project again and made an extended version of the track, as well as an alternative version that is slower, more meditative, and overall kind of enveloping and warm, inspiring memories. Hope you enjoy it! Cheers!

a slow uncolouring by singing sorrows

Played around with five short piano loops and the Chamber2 reverb from Airwindows. It's an amazing thing!
The cover photo was taken last August. At a certain time of day, the light from the neighbouring house's windows reflects directly into mine, but only in early spring and late summer. I love it.
