A new album and a trip
Hey friends! I've finally finished the album I mentioned earlier. It's called 'irises', and the idea for it came during one of my walks near home when I came across a small garden full of irises. They're such beautiful flowers. I stood and admired them for about fifteen minutes before taking some photos and going home to start working on the music. The names of the tracks are just random thoughts that were going through my head while I was looking at the flowers. In terms of the music, I wanted something simple with many tracks of short duration. I'm quite satisfied with the result, and I might do something similar again in the future.
I will be away from home from tomorrow until the end of August. The last couple weeks have not been very enjoyable and have been very painful, I had to have a dental emergency. So, I'm glad I was able to finish this album before my trip. Anyway, first, I'm going to visit my parents in my hometown for a couple of weeks. Then, my wife and I are going to St. Petersburg, where my sister now lives, for a couple of weeks. After that, we're going to spend a few days in Karelia. It should be very beautiful there. Hopefully, I'll return with lots of fresh ideas, field recordings, and a renewed passion for music. I hope you're all doing well and having a great summer! See you, cheers!

Stephen Cornell, Oh, that's great! Thanks a lot, I'm happy you enjoy it. If anything, all the sound artifacts, clicks and so on were left out on purpose 😁
