When we talk about orchids, we usually mean phalaenopsis - the most common species of orchids. Indeed, there are some amazing varieties of phalaenopsis. In my collection, there are about 40 phalaenopsies, and most of them are Asian. Especially I love fragrant orchids. They usually have few small flowers, but how they smell!

But for my drawing, I chose an orchid that I would never dare buy for my collection. It's Vanda. I would hardly be able to create conditions for this orchid blooming. So all I can do is look at them in pictures.
