Funds for the new Mermaid book

Echinocactus Platyacanthus and Eclectus Red parrot

I am not sure, if the picture is ready. Maybe I’ll come back to this drawing in a little bit and add or remove something (probably I'll finish lady's hair).
The fact is that I was very sick (looks like it was Covid), and immediately after I recovered, I discovered problems with my spine. Now I will be treated. It’s nothing, just a routine treatment for chronic diseases. The main thing is that all this pile of diseases does not progress, otherwise in the future I will be threatened with disability. But hopefully, it will not come to this.
Unfortunately, I lost a lot of time, and I only drew one or two illustrations for the book. I’m still planning a new book release right after the new year holiday. But, as they say, if you want to mock God, tell him about your plans. So we’ll see.
P.S. Look at the Eclectus Red parrot, which I drew with dry pastel, this is my first drawimg with this art material.
P.P.S. I used this cactus reference for my drawing.
Hi Anastasia, What a beautiful Eclectus female parrot, I guess. The male is green, if I remember well, with yellow and orange beak.
I am so sorry to hear about your health problems. The most important thing is that you take care of yourself. The book will arrive when it arrives. What matters most is you.
Sincerely
Nathalie, you're right, Eclectus male is green, and they both, male and female, are so beautiful!
And I'll do my best to be in time with the book, I just need a little inspiration.
I’m so sorry to hear of your health issues, I wish you very much luck with your treatment. ❤️
Thsnk you, dear Sandra! I am much better now, and your words are a breath of fresh air for me right now. I'm just glad to hear from you heart.
